Heineken Short. HAfter 15 years of service, a key person at Heineken is retiring. Jean-Francois van Boxmeer, CEO of the Dutch brewery Heineken, will resign on June 1. He will be replaced by Dolf van den Brink, head of the Asia-Pacific region. Under Van Boxmeer’s leadership, Heineken has consolidated its position as a global leader in beer sales. Although this is a normal phenomenon from the point of view of the corporate hierarchy, every new person in the company’s management must first earn the trust of the markets. Until then, company shares often face poor performance. Enough that the company’s results for 4Q 2020 did not meet analysts’ expectations.
